The Paso del Norte Group and the Rotary’s Institute for Leadership are pleased to offer an opportunity to participate in a Bi-National Leadership Institute in El Paso on May 4 and 5. As Co-Chairs of the Paso del Norte Group’s Bi-National Relations Committee, we are working with the “Leadership Program” which Sonny chairs, to provide this professional and personal development experience, crafted specifically for the Paso del Norte Group, for 20 -24 participants. We propose equal representation from Mexico and the United States from members of the Paso del Norte Group.

This highly interactive event provides a fresh outlook on leadership and its role in work, family and community life. It is a professionally developed program, offering insight into “being a leader” within the context of our bi-national and bi-cultural region. Through the Bi-National Relations Committee and other PDNG initiatives, we have come a long way in developing mutual understanding and respect among and between leaders from both sides of the border. This program builds on that important foundation, on an individual and group basis.

Participants experience one of the most effective, personally focused, time efficient, and worthwhile leadership assessment and skill building workshops available anywhere, including those which cost thousands of dollars. Topics covered include: Collective Potential; Power of Relationships; Leadership Styles; Servant Leadership; Communication/Art of Listening, Leading Change, Vision for the Future and more.

This Bi-National Leadership Institute will be held at the offices of Currey Adkins at 200 South Alto Mesa, El Paso, TX 79912 and will follow this schedule:

• Friday, May 4 - 8:00 AM through 7:30 PM, including dinner.
• Saturday, May 5 - 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM
