"REBUILING OUR COMMUNITY;
Planning for a Safe, Prosperous Border"
August 11th - Conference in Cd. Juarez
The problems plaguing the Juarez community these past few years have fractured the social and economic structure of the region. The current situation in Ciudad Juarez and communities along the border demands that we convene as a region to generate innovative, creative and effective solutions.
The Paso del Norte Group, in association with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is working on an initiative to involve the communities, on both sides of the border, in developing approaches and alternatives for the generation of sustainable communities that help us to maintain a climate of peace, progress and development for our region.
As part of this strategy, we invite you to participate in "Rebuilding our Community; Planning for a Safe, Prosperous Border, " on Wednesday, August 11th in Cd. Juarez – Cibeles Hall – Atenea Room, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The panels will include topics on: Community Building, Social Intervention Experiences, Economic Development and Innovative Models for Education. For more information please contact Jorge Ramos at
